The TwinTec water filter is a perfect drinking water solution. This carbon drinking water filter is an under the sink system, designed to produce purified water on tap. Please note, the TwinTec water filter is different to the Harvey water filter due to the screw in fixture size.
What is the Harvey TwinTec drinking water filter & who is it for?
This TwinTec system is a carbon based system that removes chemicals and impurities from your mains supply of water, including chlorine. By removing chlorine and other impurities, this simple filtration system can help improve the taste of your water, for better drinking and cooking.
This product has been produced using natural materials like coal or coconut, made into a granular powder or porous block form.
This carbon system is perfect for anyone who has a hard or soft water feed. It also works great with a water softener and bypass tap, to improve the quality of water throughout your home.
A water filter is not a water softener. This system is primarily designed to help remove impurities, such as chlorine, from water - for the sole purpose of drinking.
How does a carbon water filter work?
This filter uses activated carbon to purify water. As water flows through the carbon filter, organic contaminants are adsorbed onto the high surface area. Once saturated, the filter can be easily replaced with a replacement.
A water jug uses a similar filter, however, water filter jugs often need their filters to be replaced monthly. This direct water filter cartridge, only needs replacing every 6- 12 months – meaning it is a more convenient and cost-effective option.

How do I change my water filter?
Harvey drinking water filters are easy to install and easy to change when you need to replace your filter cartridge. Simply unscrew your old one (similar to a lightbulb) and screw in a new one. You’ll be able to see when the water runs clear, that the filter has been successfully replaced.

Returns Policy
We offer a returns policy for stock items ordered only if the following applies: . The return reason is due to an error made by NEWS, whereby we will refund the item and the delivery charges. . The purchased item is faulty or damaged. In the event of a damaged or fault product, the customer must contact our customer service and returns team within 3 working days of delivery. In this event, a replacement or refund will be arranged. The return must be logged within 14 days after the original purchase. If a return is due to a customer error or change of mind - there may be a restock fee applied.
Shipping
For orders over £1000 shipping is free of charge. Shipping costs for orders under £1000 is £5.99. All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. We use an express delivery courier who collect the day after order and deliver within 1-3 working days following collection.
