Purchasing a Harvey TwinTec water softener from NEWS was very straight forward and delivery was prompt. I ordered the wrong installation kit, but it was no problem for the staff at NEWS. The exchange was handled very efficiently, so there was minimal delay in getting the unit installed. Everything went together well, the only problem being the design of the brine drain outlet, which sat about 1mm below the cut-out in the brine tank. So, to avoid putting undue pressure on the drain hose I did a slight modification to the lower the lower edge of the cut-out, which solved the problem without effecting the operation or look of the unit. I have temporarily terminated the overflow in an easily visible bottle. Overall I'm very happy with supply of the softener and installation kit, and I would definitely recommend NEWS as a supplier. Time will tell how effective and reliable the softener proves to be . . .
